In Chapter 2 (Standards) you will find reference to maintenance related standards e.g. JAR-145, JAR-OPS Subpart-M, JAR-66 and JAR-147. As these JARs are transpositions from associated EASA Implementing Rules (with exception of JAR-OPS Subpart-M), reference can be found to these Implementing Rules as well.
In Chapter 3 (Procedures) reference is made to the CJAA and EASA procedures. These working procedures make up the general principles applicable to the CJAA, the JAA Member States or the Agency (EASA).
Chapter 4 (List of Approved Organisations) provides an overview of Approved Maintenance Organisations (AMO; JAR-145) and Approved Maintenance Training Organisations (AMTO; JAR-147).
Chapter 5 (International (US/Canada)) provides information and related links to Approved Maintenance Organisations in the US and Canada.
Training courses are offered for the Standards introduced in Chapter 2 and Chapter 6 provides the details.
The privilege of Mutual Recognition is addressed in Chapter 7.
The Continuing Airworthiness of aircraft and components is addressed by EASA IR Part M. The transposition of EASA IR Part M into JAR-M is performed and JAR M was issued per December 2007.
